It took a flying elephant to knock Captain Marvel from her perch as most downloaded film of the week. But Disney's latest (and hopefully last) take on Dumbo did it. Also new on the list are two Netflix Originals: I Am Mother and Adam Sandler's wacky Murder Mystery.
What's gone, you ask? Deadwood, we hardly knew ye. Same goes for Wonder Park (which was lucky to ever crack the top 10) and, after a long stay, the DCEU's best film, Shazam!

10Glass
Fans of M. Night Shyamalan's Unbreakable have waited almost two decades for this sequel that they didn't know they needed until Split created a shared universe. Glass brings together the Beast and his cohort of personalities (James McAvoy), Mr. Glass (Samuel L. Jackson), and the super-heroic David Dunn (Bruce Willis) all under one roof. That the majority of the action takes place in a boring sanitarium and it lacks the big budget you expect now in superhero spectacles should not be held against it. There's plenty else to hold against it, as MovieBob explains at Geek.com.9Captive State
Director Rupert Wyatt made a splash bringing back the smart chimps in Rise of the Planet of the Apes, but this film goes to the aliens or, more precisely, follows a young man preparing a rebellion against aliens who have taken over earth. John Goodman is the human collaborator with the bad guys, and he's always worth watching. You may have enjoyed this story back in the 80s (and again a few years ago) when it was on TV called V.8Hotel Mumbai
Dev Patel and Armie Hammer stars in this fictional look at the 2008 terror attacks on the city of Mumbai and in particular what happens in the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel.7Avengers: Endgame
The biggest film of the year, headed to maybe being the biggest film of all time (even adjusted for inflation), it's no surprise that an HDCam version of Endgame has edged on to the most-downloaded list. Is it proof that piracy doesn't hurt box office, or would the film have made an extra few million otherwise? Doctor Strange might know, but we probably won't, ever.6Murder Mystery
Netflix's relationship with Adam Sandler is deep and lucrative, as witnessed by his ability to re-team with former co-star Jennifer Aniston, plus upgrade his performance in this farce to 'heavily mustachioed.' He's no Poirot, but he's the detective we deserve.5I Am Mother
Daughter is being raised by Mother, a robot that keeps her alive after the apocalypse happened outside. But when Oscar-winner Hilary Swank shows up, that throws everything about Mother's story into question.4Us
Jordan Peele's previous movie Get Out was an instant horror hit, but not horror like many expected—it was called 'genre confused.' With Us, however, he goes a little more traditional, with a family haunted/stalked by doppelgangers that are tethered to their very souls. Lupita Nyong'o and Winston Duke of Black Panther star as the parents. For more, read Questions and Answers for Jordan Peele’s ‘Us' at Geek.com.3Captain Marvel
Once the biggest film of the year—until Avengers: Endgame came along—this is the Marvel Cinematic Universe's first to feature a female lead who gets the title all to herself. And since she (SPOILER ALERT!) also shows up in Endgame, Brie Larson's officially the biggest money-making superhero of the year. But not of all time, as there are a lot of of Spider-Man, Iron Man, and Batman flicks out there.2Pokemon Detective Pikachu
The Pokémon franchise comes to its natural next step: a 'live-action' adventure fantasy with the famed Pikachu as the star, voiced (and facial-motion-captured!) by Deadpool himself, Ryan Reynolds. Poké-fans will love it. Non-Pokémon people will scratch their heads and shrug mightily.1Dumbo
The remake of the animated classic, this time headed up by Tim Burton, didn't do great at the box office, but that won't stop the avalanche of 'live-action' remakes that are coming. Besides, the baby elephant is still cute as the dickens.
